Call me Tarzan...

Hello hello,

for those of you who don’t know, I am kind of scared of heights, which means that I’m absolutely knackered today after we finally managed to do the ziplining yesterday! Yes, Ladies and Gentleman, it happened after all, and by the end I suffered from over-exposure, which means that I’d run out of fear to experience, and actually started enjoying myself… J Take a look at the photos, but don’t look to closely, please J Also went on a really nice boatride during the week down in Soufrière, so feel free to envy me.

Reading a book by Werner Herzog at the moment, which is weird because it was written in German but I’m reading it in English, kind of wondering at times how he expressed this or that, it’s a bit strange, but still a good read. The book is about the making of a film, it’s actually the diary he kept at the time, and basically a first-hand account of trying to get something done in the Amazon region in the late 70’s, early 80’s. Really interesting and at times it sounds very familiar, especially when things aren’t quite working out as planned, which they generally aren’t.

Did you guys realise that we’re still waiting to get our van back from the garage? It’s been 3.5 months now… Not sure I can even remember what the thing looks like, not to mention how to drive it…

Back on lansan work next week, so I get to stay in Dennery for the week. It is raining cats and dogs at the moment, so hoping we won’t get rained off our work next week.

I shall leave you to it now, and have some brekkie.

Enjoy your week guys, do something different.

Cheers,

Carola
